Promising Biotechnology Project Studied in Davlatabad Innovation District

Today, representatives of the Namangan Regional Innovation Development Division, together with Khurshid Abdumalikov, Deputy Hokim of Davlatabad District for Innovation Affairs, visited and reviewed a number of promising innovation projects being implemented in the district.
As part of the visit, the delegation closely examined the innovative activities of “NAM BIOTEST” LLC, located in the Youth and Entrepreneurship Industrial Zone of Davlatabad District.
“NAM BIOTEST” LLC is a biotechnology company specializing in in vitro diagnostics (IVD). The enterprise develops modern diagnostic products for detecting cardiovascular diseases, liver and digestive system disorders, infectious diseases, inflammatory conditions, and narcotic substances.
One of the company's notable achievements highlighted during the visit was the expansion of its product portfolio from 11 to 74 product types. This growth reflects the steady development of the company's scientific capacity and production capabilities.
The practical effectiveness of the company's diagnostic products was also demonstrated. In particular, a rapid test for the detection of Hepatitis B was conducted on a trial basis, showcasing the speed of obtaining results and the practical applicability of the product.
According to specialists, the tests demonstrated high accuracy, rapid performance, and compliance with modern diagnostic standards. It was emphasized that such locally developed innovative products play an important role in supplying healthcare institutions with high-quality diagnostic tools, expanding import-substituting products, and promoting innovative solutions within the healthcare sector.
The participants also discussed the project's overall effectiveness, localization level, production capacity, and future development prospects.
The project was recognized as one of the key initiatives aimed at advancing biotechnology in the region, expanding the production of high value-added products, and introducing innovative technologies into the healthcare sector.
