During the official visit of our delegation to Hungary, comprising representatives of the Innovation Development Agency, the Center for Higher Education Development and Global Cooperation, Karshi State Technical University, and Almalyk State Technical Institute, issues related to expanding joint projects in the fields of science and education were discussed, particularly the development of student and faculty exchange within the framework of the Erasmus programmes.
At the meeting held at Óbuda University, it was noted that cooperation between higher education institutions of Europe and Uzbekistan is gaining new substance and significance.
During the negotiations, special attention was paid to further strengthening academic cooperation between the parties, conducting joint scientific research, harmonising educational programmes, and expanding opportunities for international academic exchange for students.
In particular, increasing student mobility within Erasmus projects and expanding opportunities for studying at leading European universities were identified as important priorities. Through these initiatives, young specialists are expected to gain international experience and master modern educational standards.
It was emphasised that this cooperation would serve as an important step toward accelerating international integration processes in Uzbekistan’s higher education system, enhancing scientific capacity, and training a new generation of specialists.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue agreements aimed at expanding practical cooperation.
