Scientific Cooperation with Leading Universities of China Is Being Strengthened

A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Oktam Salomov, held negotiations with the National Natural Science Foundation of the People’s Republic of China.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of joint fundamental research projects in cooperation between leading universities of the People’s Republic of China and universities of Uzbekistan, as well as the establishment of research internship programs for young scholars.
Such high-level visits aimed at further developing scientific cooperation between Uzbekistan and China are of strategic importance for both countries. China’s experience, having achieved significant results in science and high technologies, will contribute to enhancing Uzbekistan’s innovation potential.
