On October 25, the head of the Research Institute of Criminology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Philosophy in Legal Sciences, Colonel Berdialiev Bakhtiyor Erkinovich, participated in the next meeting of the Scientific Advisory Council under the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs, which is part of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
During the meeting, the Scientific Advisory Council discussed issues related to implementing its project plans in research, education, and other areas.
A proposal was made to conduct criminological research on reducing crime and early prevention. At the meeting, the participants exchanged experiences and discussed current issues related to fighting crime in their countries.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, representatives of the Bureau of Coordination of Combating Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crime in the CIS Member States.
The outcome of the constructive event resulted in certain agreements regarding the approval of the work plan for the following year.
