The Treasury Service Committee met with experts from the International Monetary Fund.

From August 6 to 19, 2025, the leadership of the Treasury Service Committee held a series of meetings with experts from the International Monetary Fund.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee Abdulaziz Khaidarov and other senior officials, as well as, on behalf of the IMF, the head of the mission, an expert from the Fiscal Affairs Department Amanda Sayegh, as well as IMF experts Imran Aziz and Mark Silins.
The meetings discussed the current activities of the Committee, its organizational structure, ongoing reforms, future plans, and the expansion of the Single Treasury Account.
During the discussions, in particular, it was noted that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. DP-105 dated June 26, 2025, the Digital Treasury system is being introduced and large-scale institutional reforms are being implemented aimed at digitalization and optimization of treasury business processes. Information was provided on the work carried out by the Treasury Committee in such areas as improving the early detection system for violations and involving state enterprises in the Single Treasury Account.
The parties also agreed to continue current cooperation and organize technical assistance missions in the future.
