On May 27-30 this year, public procurement specialists from the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Treasury Service Committee visited Tbilisi (Georgia) to establish interstate cooperation in the field of public procurement between the State Procurement Agency of Georgia and the Treasury Service Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Agency of Georgia Kakha Demetrashvili. At the meeting, negotiations were held on the implementation of the tasks envisaged by the memorandum of cooperation signed in Tashkent this year.
During the meeting, an exchange of experience took place on the public procurement system of Georgia, the practice of centralized procurement, procurement processes and the information systems used in them.
