Committee of the Treasury service under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Within the framework of the implementation of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 20, 2026, No. PF-66 “On the Approval of the ‘Youth of New Uzbekistan – 2030’ Strategy and Measures for Comprehensive Support of Youth,” a meeting with youth belonging to vulnerable categories, as well as an outreach reception, were organized in Yashnabad District of Tashkent city.

The event was opened by L. Temirov, First Deputy Hokim of Yashnabad District and Head of the Department of Economy and Finance, who introduced the participants to A. Khaydarov, Chairman of the Treasury Service Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with responsible officials.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Treasury Service Committee A. Khaydarov provided detailed information on the essence and significance of the Presidential Decree, as well as on the priority tasks defined within its framework. It was emphasized that the strategy is aimed at bringing state youth policy to a new level, protecting the rights and interests of young people, ensuring their employment, improving their educational and professional potential, and strengthening social support measures.

It was also noted that the strategy defines several key priorities, including:

ensuring employment for 600,000 young people entering the labor market each year;

increasing the number of young people with foreign language proficiency of at least B2 level to 450,000 by 2030;

annually assisting at least 10,000 young families in improving their housing conditions;

reducing youth crime by 40 percent by 2030;

introducing, starting from January 1, 2027, a system of mortgage loans for young families in need of housing to purchase homes on the primary housing market.

During the event, it was emphasized that the state youth policy in Uzbekistan is being consistently implemented, with special attention paid to increasing youth participation in society, supporting them, and ensuring their comprehensive development.

It was reported that in 2026, a total of 33 young people from 17 mahallas of Yashnabad District in Tashkent city were assigned to the Treasury Service Committee. To date, in cooperation with the district administration and the Youth Affairs Department, a specific action plan has been developed to ensure the employment of these young people, guide them toward vocational training, and assist them in securing a достойное место in society in the future.

In this regard, on April 30, 2026, the Treasury Service Committee conducted an outreach reception during which the appeals, proposals, and concerns of young people were heard, and relevant instructions were given to responsible officials for resolving the issues raised.

This event became one of the practical steps aimed at supporting young people, increasing their social activity, and strengthening their confidence in the future.
