Committee of the Treasury service under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Within the framework of the World Bank project “Institutional Capacity Building,” a delegation led by A. Khaydarov, Chairman of the Treasury Service Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is on an official visit to Seoul, Republic of Korea, from April 6 to 9 of the current year at the invitation of the Korea Fiscal Information Service (KFIS).

On the first day of the visit, Chairman A. Khaydarov held a meeting with Yoon Seok-Ho, President of the Korea Fiscal Information Service. During the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing practical initiatives in both countries in the areas of public finance digitalization, modern information systems, and innovative management solutions, as well as key issues related to strengthening friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Korea and further developing bilateral cooperation.

Following the meeting, the delegation became closely acquainted with presentations on the public financial management information systems implemented in the Republic of Korea, including the dBrain+ system, fiscal data and analytical platforms, the subsidy management system e-Naradoum, as well as Korea’s experience in introducing digital innovations and artificial intelligence technologies in the field of public finance.

During the subsequent days of the visit, within the next stages of the program, it is planned to study the experience of the Korea Institute of Public Finance (KIPF) regarding reforms implemented in public finance management based on artificial intelligence. In addition, a practical visit is scheduled to the Korea Local Information Research and Development Institute (KLID) to review the operation of the local public finance management information system e-Hojo.
