In March 2026, a short-term training course, "Audit and Internal Control for Ensuring Financial Discipline," was organized in India under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Program. Miraziz Mirazamov, Chief Specialist of the Treasury Risk Assessment, Prevention, and Coordination Department of the Treasury Service Committee, participated in the course and improved his skills. The main objective of the course was to study modern financial management systems, improve audit and internal control mechanisms, and master advanced methods for ensuring public financial transparency. During the course, participants gained practical knowledge aimed at strengthening financial discipline. The curriculum was enriched not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical exercises. The opportunity to exchange experiences with specialists from various countries was of great importance to the participants. This contributed to strengthening international cooperation and acquiring new knowledge. During the trip, the participants also visited the historical monuments of Delhi. In particular, ancient structures such as the Qutub Minar left a lasting impression as a unique example of Islamic architecture. The Red Fort complex, distinguished by its historical significance and reflecting the grandeur of the Mughal Empire, aroused great interest among the participants as a vibrant expression of Indian culture and art. They also visited several important government organizations in India and learned about their work processes. Specifically, they studied the agricultural sector management system, efficient resource use, and support for farmers at the Ministry of Agriculture. They also learned about internal security, maintaining order, and governance mechanisms at the Ministry of Home Affairs. They also explored advanced methods for industrial development, attracting investment, and ensuring economic growth through familiarization with the activities of the Ministry of Industry. These visits allowed the participants to gain a deeper understanding of the public administration system and further enrich their practical knowledge. Overall, this training course provided Miraziz Mirazamov not only with professional knowledge and skills but also with the opportunity to experience a new culture and history. This experience will be of great importance in the future for the effective functioning of the treasury system, risk management, and strengthening financial discipline. In conclusion, this training course within the IPTES program was organized at a high level and served not only to broaden the participant's horizons but also to develop their professional skills. The introduction to historical monuments made the trip even more meaningful and memorable.
