From January 26 to 30, 2026, the leadership of the Treasury Service Committee held a series of meetings with International Monetary Fund experts.
The event was attended by Committee Chairman Abdulaziz Khaidarov and other senior officials, as well as IMF public financial management experts Shota Gunia and Davit Gamkrelidze.
The meetings discussed the integration of non-market state-owned enterprises into the Single Treasury Account.
Specifically, relevant specialists from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Central Bank, the State Property Management Agency, the National Statistical Committee, UzAsset JSC, and the Information Technology Center of the Ministry of Economy and Finance participated in the discussions.
Following the visit, an agreement was reached to continue existing cooperation with international experts on the implementation of more effective and innovative solutions in the treasury system and to organize future technical assistance missions.
