At all times and in all eras, the role of special services in protecting state independence, territorial integrity, and national interests has been invaluable.

In particular, safeguarding the inviolability of our borders, ensuring peace and stability in the country, and protecting the rights and freedoms of our citizens are the highest and most honorable duties of the State Security Service employees.

In today’s complex geopolitical processes and challenging conditions, the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan plays a significant role in strengthening internal and external security and in defending our nation’s interests on the international stage.

By the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, since 2021, September 26 has been designated as the “Day of State Security Service Employees” and is celebrated with great honor across the country.
