Effective Use of Fuel and Energy Resources Under Control in Fergana District

The Prosecutor’s Office of Fergana District has taken under special control the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 1, 2025, No. PQ-133, “On improving measures to prevent illegal use and wasteful consumption of fuel and energy resources, as well as enhancing energy efficiency.”
During an inspection conducted by the task force members, a crack was detected in an underground gas pipeline with a diameter of 100 mm on Fidokor Street, in the “Chimyon” neighborhood, which caused a gas leakage.
According to preliminary estimates, the malfunction led to the loss of 12,000 m³ of gas. Immediate measures were taken, and the issue was promptly resolved.
In addition, work is being carried out to identify additional energy sources, prevent their wasteful use, strengthen inspection raids, combat the misappropriation of energy resources, and ensure the efficient use of available opportunities.
Control measures are being consistently continued to guarantee stable and safe energy supply for the population and to ensure the rational use of resources.
