Child support designated for children’s maintenance is the child’s right, not the parents’!
In the Fergana Region, enforcement actions to recover overdue child support resulted in a distinctive solution for settling the debt.
COURT ORDER — BEING ENFORCED!
Under the court order dated 18 March 2023, issued by the inter-district court for civil cases of Fergana District, the debtor A.O. was required to pay alimony to the claimant M.O. in the amount of one-half of the debtor’s income.
However, the debtor’s child support arrears reached 83,777,545 soums.
During enforcement actions carried out by Bureau staff to settle the debt, the debtor’s COBALT motor vehicle was transferred and registered in the name of the claimant, M.O.
📌 This is another practical example that failure to fulfil child support obligations does not go without consequences.
