Social Worker’s Activities Reviewed in Mehnatobod Mahalla

A targeted review of the social worker’s activities was conducted at the Mehnatobod Citizens’ Assembly by Sh. Rakhimov, Head of the Secretariat of the Fergana District Council, with the participation of Expert Group members M. Obidova and M. Mahmudova, as well as B. Abidov, the district representative of the “Madad” non-governmental organization.
The review was organized in accordance with the requirements of Law No. ZRU-989 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, “On the Provision of Psychological Assistance to the Population.”
During the review, the team analyzed efforts to identify people in need of psychological assistance, those experiencing psychological distress, and individuals requiring support with social adaptation. The provision of necessary psychological and social assistance to these residents was also assessed.
At the conclusion of the review, the participants exchanged views with the mahalla’s responsible officials. Relevant recommendations and instructions were issued to improve the effectiveness of social and psychological support for residents and further strengthen assistance for people in need.
