The inspection was organized by a responsible officer of the Fergana Regional Emergency Situations Department and responsible officers of the Fergana District Emergency Situations Department. The inspection thoroughly reviewed the fire safety conditions at the cotton reception points, compliance with existing requirements, and measures being taken to prevent fires.
In particular, the compliance of machinery involved in cotton harvesting with fire safety requirements, the presence of spark arresters on the machinery, as well as the condition of the fire-fighting water supply system were examined.
Based on the findings of the inspection, relevant recommendations were provided to those responsible, and important aspects of compliance with fire safety requirements were explained.
In addition, workers at the reception points were instructed on strict compliance with fire safety rules, proper actions in the event of a fire hazard, and the proper and effective use of primary firefighting equipment.
