Eco-Plogging Campaign Held in Fergana District

An eco-plogging campaign was organized in Fergana District as part of the “Youth Day” events by the Fergana Regional Department of the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change together with the Regional Department of Youth Affairs.
The campaign began with an opening ceremony at the Fergana District Hokimiyat. The event was attended by Ilhomjon Toshpulatov, Deputy Governor of Fergana District, Abduxoshim Khalimov, the Governor’s Assistant for Border Affairs, heads and responsible officials of the Ecology and Climate Change, Youth Affairs, Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, and Culture departments, school counselors of the “Future Center”, and youth leaders.
During the opening ceremony, the importance of improving environmental awareness among young people, protecting the environment, and keeping public areas clean was highlighted.
Following the opening, participants divided into two groups and launched the eco-plogging campaign aimed at collecting waste and improving the designated areas.
