Illegal Dump Identified Through UzKOSMOS Eliminated in Fergana District

State inspectors of the Fergana Regional Department of Ecology examined a land plot located in the Yangi Asr mahalla of Fergana District, behind the Cardiology Hospital, based on satellite data obtained through the UzKOSMOS Agency.
The inspection established that various types of construction and household waste had been illegally dumped in the area, resulting in the formation of an unauthorized waste site.
Appropriate measures were taken, the illegal dump was eliminated, and the area was cleared of waste.
In addition, citizen F.T., who had disposed of waste in an unauthorized location, was fined 3 million 80 thousand soums under Part 1 of Article 91 of the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility.
Protecting the environment, disposing of waste only in designated places, and maintaining the cleanliness and improvement of public areas are the responsibility of every citizen. Improper waste disposal has a negative impact on nature, public spaces, and public health.
