Road Infrastructure Is Being Improved

As part of the implementation of Resolution No. PQ–5 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2026, work is underway in Fergana district to improve road infrastructure and create convenient conditions for pedestrians.
The Fergana District State Institution for Road Maintenance is carrying out repair works along kilometers 4–6 of the D090 “Fergana–Vodil–Shohimardon” road. The installation of 7.7 kilometers of concrete curbs is planned, and work has so far been completed on a 3-kilometer section.
In addition, a 3-kilometer pedestrian walkway has been constructed, with special conditions also provided for visually impaired citizens.
