Effective Use of Land Resources — an Important Task

Shuhratjon Rahimov, Head of the Secretariat of the Council of People’s Deputies of Fergana District and Deputy of the 13th Damkul Electoral District, conducted a study in Damkul mahalla to monitor the implementation of a Council decision.
The study was carried out as part of the implementation of Presidential Decree No. PF–172 dated September 12, 2025, “On Additional Measures to Ensure Continuity of Production on Agricultural Land and Increase the Efficiency of Land Use.”
During the study, the progress of work under the program to improve irrigation of land plots that had been newly developed and returned to use within the territory of the Damkul Mahalla Citizens’ Assembly, as well as land plots allocated to young people, was reviewed.
It was established that work to extend the water supply network is ongoing in order to provide these land plots with irrigation water.
Work aimed at ensuring the effective use of land resources, improving irrigation for land plots allocated to young people, and creating the necessary conditions for agricultural production has been placed under constant monitoring.
It was also decided to continue monitoring this area to ensure that the ongoing work is completed to a high standard and within the established deadlines.
