A New Investment Project Launched in Fergana District

On the eve of the 35th anniversary of our country’s independence, another important investment project has been implemented in Fergana District. A facility of “FERMI 777” LLC specializing in the storage, processing, rapid freezing and packaging of fruit and vegetable products was officially launched.
Located in the industrial zone of the “Yangi Asr” MCF in Fergana District, the project has a total value of USD 3 million, with the entire investment provided through direct foreign investment.
The enterprise has the capacity to process and rapidly freeze up to 5,000 tons of fruit and vegetable products annually. The project will create 150 permanent jobs. It is planned that 90 percent of the manufactured products will be exported, with annual export volumes expected to reach USD 10 million.
The opening ceremony was attended by Fergana District Hokim Nodirjon Mashrapov, responsible deputy hokims, mahalla activists and representatives of the older generation.
