Adminstration of the Fergana Region

Employees of the Fergana Regional Emergency Situations Department and members of the working group conducted inspections in the Shohimardon Mahalla of Fergana District and the neighboring Sokh District as part of this year's targeted program to protect residents and territories from emergencies related to mudflows and floods.

During the inspection, officials reviewed mudflow channels, as well as ongoing riverbed and canal cleaning and riverbank reinforcement works.

Following the monitoring, responsible officials were instructed to ensure the timely cleaning of mudflow channels, organize high-quality riverbank reinforcement activities, reduce the risks of potential natural disasters, and maintain strict control over the implementation of assigned tasks.
