Employees of the Fergana District Department of Emergency Situations are conducting preventive inspections at fuel stations to prevent fires and ensure fire safety during the current period of unusually hot weather.

During the inspections, responsible personnel receive practical guidance on strict compliance with fire safety regulations, taking necessary measures to eliminate potential fire hazards, and the proper and effective use of primary firefighting equipment through hands-on training.

In addition, preventive measures are being implemented in cooperation with market administrations to reduce fire risks during the extreme heat.

In particular, after markets close each day, electricity is disconnected from the main power supply in the presence of representatives of the electricity network administration to help prevent fire hazards.
