An “Open Doors Day” on “Healthcare – A Corruption-Free Sector” Was Held in Fergana District

The Fergana District Medical Association organized an “Open Doors Day” under the theme “Healthcare – A Corruption-Free Sector” in accordance with Instruction Letter No. 14-09/1787 issued by the Fergana Regional Health Department on July 14, 2026. The event was attended by medical personnel from the district medical association’s departments, family polyclinics, and family physician points.
During the event, participants received information on preventing corruption in the healthcare system, strengthening the principles of integrity and transparency, ensuring the responsible performance of official duties by healthcare workers, and understanding the current legislation on combating corruption.
An open dialogue was also held with participants, during which comprehensive answers were provided to their questions. Recommendations were shared on promoting openness, accountability, and a zero-tolerance approach to corruption throughout the healthcare system.
