Roundtable Discussion Held with Women in Need of Legal Assistance

A roundtable discussion with women in need of legal assistance was held at Secondary School No. 2 located in the “Yordon” mahalla of Fergana District. The event was attended by Deputy Governor of Fergana District and Head of the Family and Women's Department Xamidaxon Abdug‘aniyeva, Head of the District Justice Department Sarvarbek Mahkamov, and the district chief female religious adviser D. Turdaliyeva.
The event was organized in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Resolutions No. 145 and No. 239 to support women included in the five categories requiring legal assistance, improve their legal literacy, and increase awareness of the opportunities created by the state.
During the roundtable discussion, participants were provided with detailed information on the rights and benefits established by current legislation, as well as on social, legal, and economic support measures provided by the state.
In addition, the participants’ appeals and suggestions were heard, and legal advice and practical recommendations were given on issues of concern to them.
At the end of the event, particular emphasis was placed on the need to consistently continue efforts aimed at protecting the rights and interests of women and providing them with comprehensive support.
