To ensure reliable and high-quality electricity supply for residents, large-scale modernization works are being carried out in the Shohimardon neighborhood of Fergana District as part of the “Driver” projects developed under the first-stage “Zarbdor” model for 2026.
The project focuses on improving the technical condition of power networks, preventing electricity outages, and reducing voltage fluctuations.
As a result of the work completed so far, 66 new reinforced-concrete utility poles have been installed. In addition, construction of a new 1.5-kilometer power transmission line is progressing rapidly.
Once commissioned, the new line will significantly improve the reliability of electricity supply for local consumers.
Furthermore, to reduce the load on Transformer Substation No. 350, a new 400 kVA transformer has been delivered to the area, and installation and assembly works are currently underway.
The commissioning of the new transformer will help balance the network load and significantly improve the quality and stability of electricity services.
Upon completion of the project, electricity supply for more than 200 households, nearly 100 business entities, and various social facilities in the Shohimardon neighborhood will be strengthened, bringing service quality to a new level.
