Issues of preventing drug abuse and offenses were discussed

A roundtable discussion was held in “Xurshidi tobon” mahalla of Fergana district, dedicated to preventing the sale and use of psychotropic and narcotic substances among the population, as well as combating crime and offenses.
The event was attended by the head of the group on law enforcement, mobilization, and emergency issues of the Fergana regional administration, Yusujon Kamolov, head of the Fergana district internal affairs department Muradjon Kunduzov, deputy governor of Fergana district Ilkhomjon Toshpolotov, mosque imams, female religious educators (otin-oyi), members of the mahalla “seven,” elderly residents, and local citizens.
During the discussion, detailed explanations were given on the harmful impact of drug addiction on society and its severe consequences for human health and future generations.
Special attention was also given to preventing offenses related to psychotropic and narcotic substances, protecting youth from harmful habits, and improving legal awareness among citizens.
Participants were informed about legal liability measures and were called to strengthen vigilance and social unity through awareness-raising activities.
