Issues of establishing modern intensive orchards were discussed

A seminar was held in the “Fergana” mahalla of Fergana district in cooperation with the district administration, the Agriculture Department, the District Office of the Agency for Agro-Industry Development, and “Farg‘ona-Agro Star” LLC on renewing outdated and inefficient orchards and establishing modern intensive orchards in their place.
The event was attended by Deputy Governor of Fergana district Murodil Kosimjonov, representatives of the district office of the Agency for Agro-Industry Development, management and specialists of “Farg‘ona-Agro Star” LLC, as well as members of the mahalla “seven” and heads of farming enterprises in horticulture.
During the seminar, practical recommendations were provided on modern methods of establishing intensive orchards and vineyards, increasing yields, efficient use of water and land resources, producing export-oriented products, and introducing innovative approaches into the sector.
The participants also discussed the gradual renewal of outdated orchards, wider adoption of advanced agro-technologies, and support for farming enterprises.
