Issues of combating the shadow economy were discussed in Fergana district

The Prosecutor’s Office of Fergana district is consistently continuing its work on combating the shadow economy, identifying additional budget sources, and studying the problems and proposals of entrepreneurs.
In particular, the activities of working groups established to reduce the scale of the shadow economy in the district were critically reviewed, with special attention given to existing shortcomings and measures to eliminate them.
In addition, within the defined directions for identifying additional budget sources, reports on additional resources amounting to 32 billion UZS were accepted. Based on the district’s existing potential, priority tasks for the future were clearly defined.
During the discussions, relevant officials were instructed to identify new sources of income, reduce the scale of the shadow economy, increase tax revenues, and support entrepreneurial activity.
At present, analytical and review work in this area is ongoing.
