Adminstration of the Fergana Region

Deputy Hokim of Fergana district and Head of the Department of Family and Women’s Affairs Xamidaxon Abdugʻaniyeva, chairperson of the “Mozortagi” neighborhood citizens’ assembly Dilobar Ismatova, and women’s activist Quyoshoy Yuldasheva visited the households of Sorakhon Soliyeva and Khursanoy Soliyeva, who are engaged in silkworm rearing.

During the visit, the silkworm rearing process was inspected, and preparations for the cocoon harvesting season were discussed. In addition, necessary materials for cocoon production were prepared in advance.

The officials held discussions with the household owners and provided recommendations and guidance on the development of sericulture.
