Social Protection Issues Discussed in Fergana District

A meeting of the permanent commission under the Council of People’s Deputies of Fergana district was held. It reviewed issues of social support for the population, targeted assistance to vulnerable groups, and improving the effectiveness of the social protection system.
During the meeting, reports from responsible organizations on the implementation of Presidential Decree PF–258 were heard. It was noted that the “Inson” Social Services Center and the district department for poverty reduction and employment support are working on installing solar panels in 44 out of 4,109 families included in the registry. These processes are being implemented in accordance with legislation based on the conclusions of the neighborhood “seven.”
Discussions emphasized the importance of ensuring targeted social assistance, efficient use of allocated resources, and full coverage of needy families.
At the conclusion of the meeting, improving public welfare, strengthening social justice principles, and ensuring the execution of assigned tasks were identified as priority directions.
