Issues of Increasing Youth Engagement Discussed at the “Youth Advisory Group” Meeting in Fergana District

A regular meeting of the “Youth Advisory Group” established under the Fergana District Council was held with the participation of Council Chairman Bahodir Ahmadjonov and members of the standing commission on social sphere, youth policy, culture, and sports.
During the meeting, Commission Chair Ozodakhon Dadajonova delivered a presentation titled: “The Youth Advisory Group under the Fergana District Council of People’s Deputies is a platform for consultation and cooperation that involves young people in decision-making processes and directs their initiatives toward regional development.” In her speech, she called on youth to strengthen their active civic position, actively participate in public life, and take initiative in the ongoing reforms.
It was also emphasized that youth proposals and initiatives should be comprehensively supported and directed toward achieving concrete practical outcomes. It was noted that each proposed idea carries important opportunities for the future development of the region.
At the end of the meeting, priority tasks were defined to systematically support youth initiatives, expand their participation in public life, and ensure their active involvement in decision-making processes.
