Systematic efforts are being carried out in Fergana district to support the population, improve living conditions, and develop infrastructure. In particular, important practical measures are being implemented within the framework of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-17 dated January 30, 2025, and Resolution No. PQ-330 dated September 23, 2024.
Based on these documents, funds from the “Infrastructure and Social Stability Support” fund under the Fergana district administration are being allocated to eliminate socio-economic and infrastructural issues negatively affecting the population.
In particular, taking into account the proposals of district council deputies and based on the official request of the Fergana district branch of Fergana Water Supply JSC, 300 million UZS was allocated from the fund. Using these funds, large-scale work was carried out to improve drinking water supply in the “Boy mahalla” neighborhood.
Specifically, with the participation of local community members, water supply networks with a total length of 6 kilometers were installed, including 3 kilometers of 110 mm pipes and 3 kilometers of 76 mm pipes.
These efforts contribute to providing residents with clean drinking water, improving living standards, and strengthening social stability. Such projects will continue in the future.
