This time, eco-activists held a plogging campaign at the Xuvaydo pilgrimage site located in Chimyon village of Fergana district, on the occasion of April 15 — Environmental Knowledge Day. This initiative, combining sport and ecological culture, served to foster a careful attitude toward the environment among the public.
During the event, large-scale cleaning works were carried out in the area, and waste was collected. In addition, eco-activists relaxed through sports games and organized an excursion to the Xuvaydo mausoleum, where they became closely acquainted with its rich historical and spiritual heritage.
