Press tour organized in Fergana district to promote tourism potential

The Information Service of the Fergana district administration, in cooperation with the Directorate of the “Fergana” tourism and recreation zone and Turonbank ATB, organized a press tour at a 33.2-hectare land plot in the “Sanoat” mahalla.
The land has been leased to the investment company of Turonbank ATB — “Turon Ferg‘ona bog‘lari” LLC, where a modern raspberry plantation is being established based on the “one contour — one product” principle. The press tour was organized to familiarize media representatives with ongoing investment and infrastructure projects in the region.
During the event, participants were provided with detailed information on systematic efforts to develop the tourism potential of Fergana district, including master plan development for the Shohimardon and Yordon villages, as well as Vodil, Avval, and Chimyon settlements. Special attention was given to natural and climatic conditions, infrastructure opportunities, and measures to enhance investment attractiveness.
The press tour also highlighted the integration of agriculture and tourism, development of agro- and eco-tourism, and diversification of the regional economy.
