Press conference held on the development of the tourism and recreation zone in Fergana district

A press conference dedicated to the implementation of the Presidential Resolution of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2026 (No. PQ-5) on the establishment of the “Fergana” tourism and recreation zone was held at the Fergana district administration. The event was conducted under the leadership of Deputy Hokim Akbarjon Akhrorov in cooperation with the Directorate of the “Fergana” Tourism and Recreation Zone and the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
The event was organized to inform the public about the rapid development of tourism in the region, increasing investment attractiveness, and the effective use of natural and cultural resources.
During the press conference, participants were provided with detailed explanations of the resolution and its strategic importance for the development of the region’s economy and tourism infrastructure.
Representatives of the directorate also presented planned infrastructure projects, improvements in service systems, the construction of modern tourism facilities, and the expansion of the region’s investment potential.
