Large-scale tree planting activities have begun in Fergana district within the “Yashil Makon” project

Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in a tree planting event organized within the framework of the nationwide “Yashil Makon” project and launched the establishment of the National Dendrology Park.
During the event, all regions of the republic, including the Fergana region, joined via video link and began work on creating green areas.
In particular, in the “Yuqori Archa” neighborhood of Fergana district, work has started on creating a “green garden” and a “green belt” across 105 hectares. On the very first day, more than 2,000 ornamental tree saplings were planted on 10 hectares of the area.
The event was attended by regional governor Khayrullo Bozorov, elders, youth, and representatives of the general public.
Residents of Fergana district, civil servants, and members of the public also actively contributed to this noble initiative.
