Adminstration of the Fergana Region

In the territory of the “Ulugbek” mahalla of Fergana District, deputies of the district Council Shukhratjon Rahimov, Ozodakhon Dadajonova, and Qahramon Makarov organized another deputy oversight event. The main purpose of the event was to protect the interests of the population, find on-site solutions to issues raised in citizens’ appeals, and ensure the rule of law in the area.

Within the framework of the oversight, the quality of services provided to residents in local retail stores was thoroughly studied. In particular, the product assortment, expiration dates, justification of prices, compliance with sanitary and hygiene requirements, and conditions created for consumers were analyzed. An open and constructive dialogue was held with the entrepreneur, and specific recommendations were given to improve service quality and strictly comply with legal requirements.

Additionally, within the framework of the implementation of the Council’s decision dated August 25, 2025 (No. VII-11-82-11-163-K/25), the issue of drinking water supply troubling residents of the mahalla was also examined on site. Based on citizens’ appeals, the work on laying a new water supply network, its quality, and implementation deadlines were critically analyzed.

As a result of the study, responsible officials were given clear instructions and strict tasks were set to accelerate and ensure the high-quality implementation of the work.
