Systematic Measures to Combat Drug Abuse and Drug-Related Crime Are Being Strengthened

In order to ensure the implementation of the National Program of Comprehensive Practical Actions for 2025–2026 on the early prevention of drug abuse and the fight against drug-related crime, approved by Presidential Decree No. PF-207 dated November 3, 2025, consistent and targeted measures are being carried out in Fergana District.
Within the framework of the program, a roundtable discussion was organized at Secondary School No. 3 for residents of the “Yuqori Vodil,” “Obod,” and “Navro‘z” mahallas. The event brought together community activists, representatives of the educational institution, parents, and youth to discuss in detail the prevention of drug abuse and other negative social issues.
During the meeting, priority tasks were identified to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, protect them from various risks and harmful habits, and ensure meaningful use of their free time. The importance of strengthening cooperation among parents, teachers, and the mahalla community was also emphasized.
At the end of the event, participants watched the feature film “Badal,” which highlights the severe consequences of drug abuse and its negative impact on society.
