Large-scale community clean-up activities aimed at improving landscaping and infrastructure have begun in the “Satkak” mahalla of Fergana district. The process is being carried out under the leadership of Fergana district governor Khamidullo Inomov, with the active participation of regional representatives, heads of district enterprises, organizations and institutions, as well as local community activists.
To ensure the effective organization of the activities, specific tasks were defined to improve the mahalla, enhance existing infrastructure and address existing issues in a phased manner. During the clean-up, landscaping works were carried out in residential areas, internal streets and cemeteries. In addition, the implementation of several new projects aimed at further improving infrastructure was launched.
Furthermore, following the critical article titled “Where there is no cleanliness and order, there will be no comfort, prosperity or well-being,” published in issue No. 9 of the Yangi Fergana newspaper on February 7, 2026, on-site inspections were organized by the district administration. During the review process, special attention was paid to increasing waste collection routes by the “Toza Hudud” enterprise, particularly during the hot summer months.
As a result of the discussions, relevant instructions and directives were issued to responsible officials to eliminate identified shortcomings, improve sanitary conditions and create favorable living conditions for the population.
