An accountability meeting was held in Fergana District to review the activities carried out by the Family and Women’s Affairs Department during 2025. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Governor of the district and Head of the Department, Khamidakhon Abduganiyeva.
The meeting was attended by representatives of partner organizations, women activists from local communities, and leaders of the “Oqila Ayollar” initiative. In line with the agenda, comprehensive discussions were held on the work implemented in 2025 in the areas of strengthening families, supporting women, social protection, and preventing offenses and crime.
During the meeting, employees who demonstrated active and effective performance throughout the year were awarded letters of appreciation from the Fergana District Administration. At the same time, issues related to applying disciplinary measures, in accordance with established procedures, to employees who showed insufficient commitment to their duties—particularly in preventing family divorces, crime prevention, and other key areas—were identified.
The meeting also outlined priority tasks for 2026, including targeted work with women, addressing social problems, and implementing measures aimed at ensuring family stability.
