Adminstration of the Fergana Region

A discussion was held in Fergana District with the participation of District Hokim Khamidullo Inomov, First Deputy Hokim Otabek Abdurakhimov, and Head of the Mahallas Association Diyorbek Khomidov, focusing on the establishment of a tourism center around the “Oqbilol” reservoir located within the territory of the “Oqbilol” mahalla citizens’ assembly.

During the meeting, comprehensive consideration was given to the effective use of the area’s natural potential, development of domestic and inbound tourism, creation of modern infrastructure, and establishment of favorable conditions for tourists. Proposals regarding the implementation of investment projects around the reservoir, attraction of private business entities, and creation of new jobs were also discussed.

At the conclusion of the discussion, specific tasks were assigned to the responsible officials for the integrated development of the area. Emphasis was placed on the phased implementation of investment projects and the need to enhance tourism potential while maintaining ecological balance.
