The Specialized School of Fergana District has been awarded the “THE Accredited Counsellor 2025–2026” certificate by the prestigious international organization Times Higher Education (THE).
This certificate was granted in recognition of the students’ initiative in international education, their active participation in global academic programs, and the exemplary evaluation of the school counsellor’s thesis titled “Working with Socially Inactive Students.”
The program, organized in cooperation with Common Purpose and the British Management Institute (BMI), is part of the Counsellor Accreditation Programme (THE CAP) under the UK-based international organization Times Higher Education (THE). It aims to enhance the professional competence of counsellors who guide students toward foreign higher education institutions.
The THE Accredited Counsellor status is valid for two years and serves as an important indicator of an educational institution’s international prestige. This recognition has so far been awarded to only five educational institutions in Uzbekistan, among which the Fergana District Specialized School holds a particularly distinguished place.
This achievement clearly reflects the consistent efforts of the school community, teachers, and counsellors to strengthen integration with the global education system, increase students’ social engagement, and prepare them as competitive professionals on an international scale.
On behalf of the Fergana District Administration, we sincerely congratulate the entire school community, teachers, and students on this outstanding accomplishment.
