Dozens of violations and hundreds of illegal nets were identified in the Aydar-Arnasay lake system

During the raids, 94 violations were recorded. The total amount of imposed fines reached 423 million sums, while the environmental damage was estimated at 28 million 136 thousand sums.
Additionally, from February 26 to 28, a raid was carried out in the Aydar-Arnasay Lakes to remove illegal fishing nets abandoned in the water. As a result, 100 nets, each 100 meters long, were retrieved from Lake Aydar in the Navoi region, 70–80 nets of the same length from Lake Tuzkan, and 50–60 nets from Lake Arnasay.
Inspection activities in the lakes continue.
For reference: Earlier, during the raid conducted in the territory of Arnasay district of Jizzak region, the fact of illegal fishing, which caused damage to wildlife for 487 million sums, was established.
