Operational Headquarters Launched to Reduce Poverty and Ensure Public Employment
The operational headquarters for poverty reduction and employment promotion, established under the Bo‘ston District Hokimiyat, is placing special emphasis on effectively organizing the neighborhood-level ("mahallabay") work system and increasing the impact of measures implemented within the framework of social registers.
As part of the headquarters' activities, ongoing efforts to provide citizens with permanent and seasonal sources of income, offer vocational guidance, boost employment, and launch micro-projects are being thoroughly analyzed.
Furthermore, identifying genuinely vulnerable segments of the population, ensuring the targeted allocation of preferential loans and subsidies, making effective use of available opportunities, and strengthening close cooperation between sector heads and local neighborhoods have been set as priority tasks.
Currently, systematic work is underway across every neighborhood in the district to identify unemployed citizens, secure their employment, and create sustainable sources of income.
At present, the Head of the Operational Headquarters and District Hokim, S. Nosirova, is meeting with business entities that have submitted appeals and reviewing their documentation.
The primary goal is to transform Bo‘ston District into an unemployment-free zone, increase household incomes, and ensure the well-being of families.
