"Thursday — Youth Day": Practical Solutions to Youth Employment and Challenges
Sanobarkhon Nosirova, Hokim of Bo‘ston District, held a meeting with local youth on the occasion of "Thursday — Youth Day."
During the meeting, special attention was paid to addressing young people's appeals and proposals, securing their employment, providing vocational guidance, and offering practical support to those wishing to start their own businesses.
Throughout the open and candid dialogue, young participants directly raised issues of concern and shared their proposals and aspirations regarding employment, vocational training, launching entrepreneurial ventures, and making use of available opportunities.
Right at the meeting, four young individuals were hired for the vacant positions they had requested and expressed interest in. This served as an important example of efforts aimed not merely at listening to youth appeals, but at delivering tangible results.
Additionally, appeals from other attendees were reviewed individually, and tailored recommendations were provided based on their interests, knowledge, skills, and chosen fields. Young people wishing to learn a trade were referred to available training courses and opportunities, while aspiring entrepreneurs received guidance on project implementation, accessing loans, and utilizing other support mechanisms.
During the meeting, the importance of working individually with each young person, examining their challenges in a targeted manner, and resolving issues on the spot whenever possible was emphasized.
Such meetings held as part of "Thursday — Youth Day" play a vital role in hearing out young people's concerns, supporting them, securing their employment, and helping them realize their future plans.
