The 26th regular session of the Boston District Council of People's Deputies of the seventh convocation took place.
The session was chaired by M. Tuychieva, Chairperson of the Council.
The agenda of the session included a number of key issues concerning the socio-economic development of the district, improving public welfare, employment, education, social protection, water management, mahalla operations, and the naming and renaming of geographical features.
The session addressed the following matters:
— Implementation of proposals outlined in the "roadmaps" developed under the "Think tank – Khokimiyat – Council of People's Deputies" partnership;
— Progress made on citizens' proposals submitted via the "Open Budget" portal during the 2nd season of 2026;
— Accounting for library and information resources, preservation, and writing-off of collections;
— Water intake limits for crop irrigation during the autumn-winter (non-growing) period, along with the rational and efficient use of water resources;
— Preparing secondary school graduates for higher education, career guidance, vocational education coverage, and youth employment;
— Community engagement in mahallas, identifying and addressing citizens' issues, and coordinating the activities of the "Mahalla Seven";
— Poverty reduction, ensuring employment, and increasing household incomes;
— Delivery of targeted social services to the population and support for low-income families;
— Naming and renaming of 646 geographical features (streets) across Boston District.
Reports and updates from accountable officials were delivered on all agenda items, followed by discussions on recommendations raised by the deputies.
Following the discussions, relevant resolutions were adopted, assigning specific tasks to the responsible authorities.
Targeted measures were identified to ensure the execution of assigned duties, safeguard public interests, and maintain consistent efforts toward the socio-economic development of the district.
