On this day, both young and old equally cherish this sacred symbol. In it, they see the true and literal reflection of our beloved Uzbekistan. The deeply respectful attitude of every compatriot towards our Emblem has become a noble value in our country.
The State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The sun scatters its golden rays over a flourishing valley surrounded by majestic mountains, rivers, and a wreath consisting of wheat ears on the left and cotton branches with open bolls on the right. This is a unique allusion to the fascination of our peerless country. At the top of the emblem, a crescent and a star are depicted inside an octagon as a symbol of the republic's freedom. In the center of the symbol, the Khumo bird with spread wings is depicted as a symbol of happiness and love of freedom. At the bottom of the emblem, on the bow of the wreath ribbon representing the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the word "O‘zbekiston" is inscribed.
In the color representation of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Khumo bird and the rivers are depicted in silver; the sun, ears of wheat, cotton bolls, and the inscription "O‘zbekiston" are in gold; the cotton branches and leaves, mountains, and valley are in green; the cotton in the bolls is in white; the ribbon is in three colors reflecting the colors of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan; the octagon is in sky blue fringed with a golden border; and the crescent and stars are in white.
In accordance with Article 4 of the Law "On the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan is permanently placed on the front of the buildings of the residences of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, the Cabinet of Ministers, republican state administration bodies, the State Security Service, the National Guard, the Central Bank, the Accounts Chamber, the Central Election Commission, the Jokargy Kenes and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, local government authorities, courts, prosecutor's office bodies, diplomatic missions, consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as missions to international organizations.
The image of the emblem is reflected on seals and letterheads of state agencies, official publications, paper and coin currency, securities, civilian passports, and other documents specified by law.
Legislation dictates that every citizen living in our country must treat state symbols, including the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with respect. Respect for state symbols is instilled into the minds of the younger generation starting from preschool educational institutions and schools. This serves as an important factor in strengthening the sense of involvement in the fate of their native land, patriotism, dedication, and boundless pride in their Homeland among growing boys and girls.
