2027-03-21 / Calendar of events
Navruz is an ancient national holiday celebrated on March 21.

This day marks the time of the vernal equinox, when day and night become equal in length. With the arrival of this holiday, many Uzbek families prepare various traditional national dishes such as sumalak, halim, green somsa, and plov. These foods are rich in vitamins that are beneficial to the human body.
After independence, the ancient traditions and customs of the Uzbek people have been revived in our country, and the celebration of Navruz has taken on a special character. This holiday is a nationwide celebration symbolizing friendship and unity among all peoples.
