A delegation from Andijan Region held a meeting with representatives of U.S. investment bank Oppenheimer & Co.

During the discussions, the parties considered an initiative to raise USD 300 million from international capital markets. The project is planned to be implemented through the issuance of international corporate bonds, commonly known as Eurobonds, by Andijon Invest Joint-Stock Company.

The meeting included an in-depth exchange of views on offering the bonds to international investors, financing mechanisms, the effective use of financial instruments, and the next steps in the project's implementation.

The initiative aims to expand the region's investment opportunities, strengthen ties with international financial markets, and attract additional sources of funding for promising projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties discussed further cooperation in the identified areas and the examination of practical aspects of the project's implementation.
