Andijan regional administration

These days, a delegation led by Shuhratbek Abdurakhmonov, Governor of Andijan Region, is on an official working visit to the Republic of Belarus.

As part of the visit, members of the delegation visited Vitebsk State University, where they became closely acquainted with the university’s activities, its educational process management system, and its research potential.

During the meeting, the participants held an extensive exchange of views on further developing cooperation in higher education, sharing experience to improve the quality of education, establishing academic mobility for faculty members and students, and exploring opportunities for implementing joint educational programs and research projects.

As part of the visit, Shuhratbek Abdurakhmonov, Governor of Andijan Region, also met with students from Andijan studying at Vitebsk State University, as well as those staying in the Republic of Belarus to exchange experience and enhance their professional qualifications.

The meeting, held in an open and cordial atmosphere, provided an opportunity for the regional governor to speak individually with each student and learn about their studies, living conditions, challenges, and suggestions. The students’ views and concerns were heard, with particular attention given to supporting them and creating the necessary conditions for expanding their knowledge and gaining further experience.

This visit marked an important step toward strengthening bilateral educational and scientific cooperation, creating new opportunities for young people, and expanding international exchange of experience.
